For Hong Kong’s new Centre for Heritage Arts & Textile (CHAT), MediaMonks produced a 4D VR (virtual reality) experience that takes people on a journey through the history of the city’s textile industry. As part of the 4D experience, MediaMonks developed stations that allow users to feel what it’s like to work with textile machines.
Levers, switches and knobs that simulate the original machinery act as triggers that activate chapters and turn on the machines inside the 3D factory.
