eyes without a face

As part of their approach to training TAFE NSW in Australia has embraced AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) to bring course work and training to life. In this example, Zappar created an exploded view of an eye as part of their exploration of anatomy and physiology. This EyeAR project incorporated a quiz to test students on their basic understanding of the various anatomical elements that make up the eye.

This framework could then be used for other body parts and modules for humans and animals as part of quest for ‘active learning through doing’ and encouraging deeper memory encoding and time to competency through this level of interaction.
