Gas engine manufacturer INNIO Jenbacher uses augmented reality (AR) to attract new talents.
Expanding upon the traditional approach of using printed media to inform potential applicants, this AR app provides an extra digital content layer to the physical leaflet. With a combination of gamification and AR, the result not only wows the target group of 15 – 17-year-old teens but also provides a certain challenge. In the beginning, most of the content is locked.
It can only be unlocked by finishing a series of mini-games involving INNIO Jenbacher’s core product gas engines. Throughout the experience, users earn a currency called megawatts and spend them gradually unlocking new content like additional engines, quizzes, puzzles, or videos.
