Augmenting the pub experience with interactive augmented reality (AR) coasters.

We’ve all been there… waiting at the bar for your friend to arrive, looking at your phone. Well thanks to the lovely people at Bulmer’s in Ireland, there’s now a perfect way to kill the time with these interactive coasters.

Scanning with the Shazam app launched a “keepie-uppie” football game and a link through to the campaign microsite. On average the game was replayed 4.3 times per user. Credit: zappar
